ESPN 100 High School Basketball 2014 Class VS 2015 Class

ESPN 100 High School Basketball 2014 Class VS 2015 Class
« on: October 22, 2014, 11:07:03 AM »
Thoughts on the High School Basketball Players and the upcoming class.  All I know is that point guard Emmanuel Muliday a top 5 pick in the 2015 NBA Draft turned down Baylor and Kentucky to play for SMU.  Then he left SMU to play Pro Ball overseas for Congo.  Will more High School Basketball players turn down college teams to play for pro teams overseas if they are getting paid a year leading up to the NBA Draft?

Apparently there are 30 players from the class of 2014 that are 5 star recruits on the ESPN 100.  This year there are only 18 5 star recruits that come in as freshman.

Usually you see 20-25 5 star recruits that rank in the top 25 coming out of high school.  You see 2-5 of the top 5 overall prospects go pro before they even touch a ball on a collegiate basketball court.

That's how basketball is now.  One could say that's why punks play it, but that's the bottom line.

Duke has 4 players in the top 29.  One at point guard, one at shooting guard, one at small forward, and then Jahlil Okafor the projected top pick in the 2015 NBA Draft.  I'm going Kentucky over Duke for my bracket this year.
